Just a few Morris family summer pictures

Here are some pictures showing a few things that our family did this summer.

We spent a weekend in beautiful Lake Tahoe.We took a tram to the top of the ski resort, and enjoyed the beautiful view! We also got to visit Uncle Dale and Aunt Margaret while we were there. It was also fun to see our cousin Jenny. It was great to visit with everyone in such a great atmoshere!

This summer McKayla raised a lamb to show in our county fair. It was a good experience for her and she had a lot of help from her entire family. Her lamb weighed 114 lbs, and at times was very difficult for a 50 lb girl to handle, but she did great and got 1st place in her class as well as placing 25th out of 350 lambs. Not to bad for a first timer! Poppa and Shirley were nice enough to make the long trip to Utah and watch her show "Mater". It is always fun to have them visit our home!

Here is a picture of the kids at one of their favorite places, Bear Lake! They enjoyed Labor Day sun bathing and playing in the sand.

These are just a few of the fun things we did this summer. I will post some more pictures from our famiily vacation to Yellowstone when we get home.

Hello from the Morris family!!!!

Hello Byrne relatives,

This is Keri Beth (Shirley) Morris. I am Marlene's oldest daughter. I am going to try this whole blog thing. It is all new and foriegn to me! I am not sure if I am clever enough to figure it out, but I will give it a try. I am hoping to get educated enough to get a blog going for my family in the near future. I will try to get information and photo's to everyone this way first. I think it is a great way to stay involved with everyone's busy and expanding families.

My husband David and I are celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary this week. We are going to take the kids to Yellowstone for the weekend. We have three kids, and another one will join us in December. We have 2 girls and 1 boy, and the new baby is going to be another girl as well.

I guess we will see if I can figure this out!

Cheryl's Family

This Cheryl's family from this past July! She has 3 Grandaughters and 3 Grandson's. Soon she will be a Grandma again with another Grandson on the way to Laura and Adam.

These pictures were taken in Cheryl and Kelly's newly finished backyard. All had fun swimming in the new pool and eating at the bar. We even roasted Marshmellows on the fire pit!

The Johnson's update out in Geogia!

Hi I'm Stacey Longacre Johnson (Charles Byrne Oldest Grandaughter and Cheryl's oldest daughter.) I set up this blog with the idea that it would be a great way to have the family newsletter we've always wanted to do without all the work. Now we can post updates of our families for everyone to view anytime of day or night. I can't wait to see what everyone has been up too!

I've been married for 10 years to my husband Scott and we have 5 children. We live in Cumming, Georgia and would love for ya'll to come visit! This is our family over the last year.

Kelsey is 9 yrs. old and in 4th grade.

Mary-Kate is 7 yrs. old and in the 1st grade.
